Curriculum
How do you know what to teach in your classroom? If you are a biology teacher where do you find what the students should learn and what they should already know. I have learned that there have been objectives developed by the state of Texas that teachers should follow to know what their students should be learning, those objectives are found in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, or the TEKS. Here you can find what your student should have learned in previous grades and what they should know by the end of the grade they're in.
Lesson Plans
This section contains examples of different lesson plans I have been trained in writing during my curriculum development class at ETBU. Planning out your lesson plan can make the difference in student learning. Every detail should be mapped out so that if the teacher was not there and someone else had to come and teach the lesson then they could if they follow the lesson plan.
